The Micro Small & Medium Enterprises Training Institute, Ettumanur has been set up under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, during 1999 with the avowed objective to train unemployed youth of the State in various technical disciplines and also to inculcate an entrepreneurial culture among them. The Institute is located  at the Industrial Estate,near Ettumanur Railway Station .
